COMPLIANCE WITH THE
MERLO AGREEMENT AND STANDARDS

THE GENERAL UNIFORM FOR ALL MERLO STUDENTS IS AS FOLLOWS: 

  • Polo shirtsSolid Colors: Black, White, or Gray-Merlo Logo OK Shirts must be tucked in =  No layers or bare midriffs 

  • Pants/SkirtsSolid Colors: Black or Khaki/Beige No sagging pants (Pants should be worn at the waist)
  • Skirts at least knee length No Capri pants, shorts, or leggings No Levi/denim jean type material  
  • Jackets/Sweaters/Sweatshirts Solid Colors: Black, White, or Gray NO LOGOS, Graphics, or writing of any kind (Merlo logo OK) No Levi/denim jean type material  

  • ShoesSolid Colors: Black or White athletic/tennis shoes or Black or Brown everyday shoes No Stiletto heels, platform, open toed or backless shoes.  

  • RESTRICTIONS: The following items are NOT acceptable:

  • Hats/caps/scarves/hoods/sunglasses, beanies or head coverings of any type

  • Blue or red clothing

  •  Unnatural hair color-red, green, blue, etc.; hair will be neat, combed, off the face and well groomed

  • Personal grooming in classrooms

  • Gentlemen are allowed to wear small loop earrings or studs only

  • No rubber bands around pant legs
